Reviews of STUNNING MODERN SPLIT-LEVEL DUPLEX CLOSE TO BEACH (2091) Date  01-07-2012 Rating  Name  Mary, Barry & Gillian Message  Enjoyed a wonderful holiday at this duplex for 1 week in June 2012. Facilities in the duplex are excellent & it is equipped to a very high standard - home away from home!! Location is excellent only 5 mins walk to long sandy beach. Excellent restaurant only 3 mins walk away - San Giuseppe & plenty more cafes & restaurants in the area. Town of Denia is 3km from the Duplex & well worth visiting for shopping & evening walks on the sea front where there are many beautiful restaurants. Owners are exceptionally helpful & efficient in all their dealings & particularly on our arrival to the property when they showed us how to work all equipment, air con, shutters etc. We really enjoyed our stay in the Duplex & would hope to stay their again when we return to the area. Date  08-08-2011 Rating  Name  Davage family Message  Had a great week thanks – the duplex was ideal for us. It was really well furnished and had everything we needed to enjoy the week. Especially liked the fact that there was a garden patio in shade for lunchtime and and upstairs a large balcony in shade in the evening. Also appreciated all the beach stuff that came in very handy during the week. Out of 10 we would give the duplex and holiday a good 8 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it . The sandy beach is 5 to 10 minutes. The pool is well maintained and the green spaces along. The terrace overlooking the garden is pleasant especially in the evening sun. The welcome was very warm. Salmon family - France July 2011 Date  17-04-2011 Rating  Name  Reg & Maureen Message  'Having been invited to a wedding celebration in Denia and we were faced with two options - do we book a long weekend in an expensive five star hotel or, as is our usual preference, to make a weeks holiday of the event by finding ourselves self catering accomodation and enjoying it's freedom? Why have a weekend when you can have a whole week? It took me quite a while to locate accomodation in the Denia area because most of the main travel agencies don't seem to include Denia in their portfolios, but eventually I found your - Holiday Homes Rentals - website and located your property as a possibilty which, I was convinced, would more than probably meet our needs perfectly. It certainly did. Your duplex is a lovely, well maintained, equipped property that is situated in an ideal complex. We were more than satisfied and in no way dissapointed with the accomodated. The views of the mountains from rear of the property are stunniing! Even a minor plumbing problem was repaired by John immediately and did nothing to spoil our stay. Because the duplex is located some distance from Alicante airport and because we were unable to find any supermarkets within walking distance I would suggest that a hire car is a necessity for any stay in the area. Whether we will find ourselves in the Denia area again I'm not sure but I would wholeheartedly recommend this property - Date  10-03-2011 Rating  Name  Fred & Phyllis Message  Hi there Maureen and John, Just a quick note to tell you that we really loved our short break in your duplex at La Giralda. Although it was in early January, the weather was sunny and warm the whole time we were there. The duplex was everything we expected and more, it is so spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The upstairs terrace is the place to have breakfast for sure!. Then in the early evening we could catch the sun again on the garden terrace before going out for dinner in one of the many and varied restaurants which are within walking distance of the duplex. Personally, I loved the idea of having the DVD movies available to watch on the evening we didn't go out. We took a stroll down to Denia on the 6th January for the fabulous 3 Kings celebrations, what a fantastic fireworks display! Denia is such a lovely town, with the tree-lined Marcus De Campo and the beautiful new Marina, ever so trendy! Fred & Phyllis, January 2011 Date  09-11-2010 Rating  Name  Chris Johnson & family Message  Overall the holiday was fine - the apartment was very clean on arrival, we appreciated the supplies left in the fridge - the only downside was the fact that the double bed was very uncomfortable for us - we solved this by sleeping on two duvets. Maureen & John Date  09-11-2010 Rating  Name  Hilary,Janet & Rebekah Message  We had a great time thanks and really liked the duplex and surrounding area. It was lovely and clean and we enjoyed being able to catch the last of the sun each evening in the garden with a bottle of bubbly after our days out. We would like to give a score of 8/10 and would suggest a couple of improvements in the kitchen - a cafetiere, a salad spinner and a couple of baking trays! When out all day we like to buy fresh produce and cook for ourselves in the evening - I know that is probably not the norm but is the benefit for me of going away with a friend who loves to cook and even picked wild thyme she found growing while we were out somewhere to use as one of her ingredients! If we ever come back to the area or if I return with my family I would certainly consider staying at your duplex again and would have no hesitation in recommending your property. The rent is comfortable and bright, the residence quiet and green. Kids could play on the swimming pool. Loved the fact there were air conditioners in each room, that there was a big terrace one one side and nice patio on the other; the gated development was lovely and peaceful with nice swimming pool; short walk to the most beautiful sandy and not overcrowded (it was very important for us) beach and amazingly clear sea; the fact that you and John live near by and always on call was also comforting . Kitchen was full of everything necessary for the comfortable stay, TV with DVD was also handy (and movies and books you keep there which we watched and read), so thank you very much for making our stay very enjoyable! Katia - Russia & friends from Spain 2nd - 25th July 2010 Date  09-09-2010 Rating  Name  Paul and Jackie Message  We very much enjoyed our holiday at the Duplex which was spotlessly clean and very well equipped.The air conditioning was a brilliant relief when the temperature outside hit 43 degrees. The large balcony is great for eating and family banter. The complex is very well maintained and safe, so fantastic if you have children. The grounds are very pleasant and the pool is relaxing and large enough for a good swim and deep enough for a good dive but with a shallow end for the kids. There is a small baby pool also. Parking is ample. The surrounding area is very safe and the beach is only a 10 min walk. The beaches are fantastic. Lots of space, shallow clear water, regular lifeguard stations, volley ball nets (eat your heart out Top Gun),and is cleaned daily.The sunsets are great. Denia itself is a working Spanish town which we found very enjoyable. The Duplex is a great base for exploring the area and Valencia is only 1 hour away (highly recommended).
