"Very attractive and comfortable property in a beautiful and varied coastal setting" This holiday duplex is situated on a beautifully maintained urbanisation just a few minutes walk from the beach and numerous restaurants and other facilities with a beautiful inland backdrop of mountains. The duplex was well maintained and equipped, had a very private garden and was only a few moments from the very attractive swimming pool. Off road parking was provided. An improvement suggestion concerning the double bed that would benefit future holiday makers would be to use fitted sheets that fit the mattress and to upgrade the pillows to something more comfortable than the current bolster. The town of Denia, about 10 minutes drive from the duplex, was very lively and extremely interesting. It provided many lovely shops, restaurants, places of interest and offered a variety of activities, many connected with the sea. Within a short drive/boat trip there are many local towns and villages well worth visiting such as Oliva, Altea and Xabia. All in all a great holiday destination and a very attractive holiday rental property with excellent hosts. |

“Relaxing Christmas Break in the Sun” Reviewed December 28, 2014 We enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful week over Christmas at this duplex. There were beaches within walking distance and they were very clean and the sea beautifully clear. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and in a beautiful location. Although we didn't get to meet the owners (Maureen & John), they went above and beyond in helping us right from the moment when we first booked. They provided us with great directions, a welcome pack and local information that we had requested. Nothing was too much trouble and we look forward to returning to this duplex again. We can recommend a local German restaurant, El Barrill. The staff spoke excellent English and the food was amazing. Huge portions and very reasonably priced. |

“Fantastic duplex!” Reviewed November 1, 2014 From the moment we enquired about the booking, the owners couldn't have been more helpful. This is a spotless duplex with fantastic views in a peaceful and convenient setting. A stones throw away from the shared pool and a few minutes walk to the beach, local shops and bars/restaurants. The harbour and old town of Denia are just 5 minutes drive away but the Duplex is so well equipped, if you fancied a night in, you could. A really great find. |

“The extremely helpful and thoughtful owners made sure everything was just right.” My husband and I travelled with our 3 year old son here in September. Maureen and john couldn't meet us here but were met by one of their friends who was extremely helpful. Walking in we were met by an immaculately clean duplex. Our son soon located the toys in the cupboard in his room! He was very happy! Didn't need to buy a few staple bits as already there like buckets and spades, beach umbrella and various other beach bits. The beach is a short walk away and is uncrowded and excellent for small children. Warm water with not much current or big waves to knock them over. Great for sand castles too! We found a little fair at the end of the road too. Only a euro for each ride and a balloon given to the kids when they leave. Happy children!! There is also a little train in Denia town that goes up to the castle. It's an hour round trip but for a child that loves trains it was a must!! The duplex had everything we needed and the neighbours around us were very friendly. One gave our son a digger and he loved it on the beach. We left it there for the next family to enjoy. We had a lovely time. Every angle catered for. To top it off we had wall to wall sunshine, about 30 degrees most days. Just a shame to be back in rainy England!! Thank you Maureen and John for making our holiday so enjoyable and run so smoothly. |

“do we really have to leave?” We stayed at this accommodation last year and couldn't wait to return.As it was our 25th wedding anniversary this year we opted for an extra week here rather than the usual weekend in paris or rome! on arrival we felt like we had come home.The duplex was immaculate, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Even though we were there during the main Spanish holiday the complex was quiet and most days had the pools to ourselves.Its a great base to explore real spain, we ventured to the beautiful mountain village of Guadalest and the nearby waterfalls where you can swim in ice cold mountain water! Benidorm is 25 minutes away with its waterpark and caberet at the Palace. Denia is a beautiful town,quiet and great for a relaxing holiday. The blue flag beaches never seem to be overcrowded. The only negative thing I can say is that we had to leave!!! |

| Message | My wife and two children aged 12 and 15 had an excellent holiday in Denia and the duplex was first class. We had all we needed in terms of equipment and furnishings and it was spotless, when we arrived. A bonus for the kids was the installation of wifi the day before we arrived and for the parents the option of air con or fans was great for keeping cool. Due to some sat nav problems we struggled to find it initially but John very helpfully found us and took us there. Advise following Maureen's directions! The local amenities are great with the excellent beach a short walk away and a very clean and spacious pool in the complex. We also liked the secure parking. Denia itself was very pleasant with a great range of shops, market stalls and restaurants. We also spent a couple of days in Arenal in Javea which we really enjoyed and had a very good day in Valencia including a visit to the Oceanagraphic which we would highly recommend.. | ||||||

Beautiful setting Had 2 weeks staying at this lovely duplex apartment. Was very clean, bright and airy with everything you need to have a relaxing break. The owners have really thought of everything :-) There's even music CDs, DVDs, playing cards and board games to keep you entertained together with bits and bobs for children to play with. Also provided was lots of information on the area together with details of restaurants / supermarkets etc. The apartments are located in a very quiet residential area and are totally secure. They are within a beautiful tree lined garden with a shared pool. They are a short walk to a few shops, bars, restaurants, beach and bus stop which takes you into Denia town centre for 1.50 Euros each way. Would definitely recommend eating at Danuns close-by - excellent food and service. My holiday was everything I expected - thank you so much John and Maureen :-) |

Ideal place to chill out We were met by the owners (Maureen and John), who took us through the duplex and pointed out all the necessary details. In the extensive welcome pack, there are contact details should you have any problems. We didn't need to use it. The duplex itself is extremely clean and tidy, with just about everything we needed. There are sunbeds, loungers, all utensils and cooking equipment provided - with the most important item, a corkscrew:) TV, DVD player, CD player etc The building is in a gated community of 30, but visiting in May, we only saw a dozen or so people for the whole fortnight. We basically had the pool to ourselves. I'm sure this may change in August/September! The beauty of the duplex is that you get full sun on the upper terrace in the morning (until around 2pm), then you can just move onto the private garden at the rear to continue bathing until the sun goes down in the evening. There are a number of very good restaurants within 300 yds around the beach area, and there is no chance of being overcrowded on the beach - it is huge. We weren't driving, but there is a bus every half hour or so (with buses every 15 minutes in the peak season) into the centre of Denia. It takes about 10 minutes, and is 1.50 Euro one way. We even walked it a few times - it is just 2 miles. Denia itself has a wonderful Marina, where you can walk and ogle the boats, and walking into the centre, there are lovely narrow, traditional streets with cafes and restaurants everywhere. The Marina itself has a great range of restaurants - I would personally recommend La Brava - the food was fantastic and the view is wonderful. All in all, this holiday ticked all the boxes for me, which was eat, drink, chill and sunbathe. I cannot recommend the accommodation highly enough, and fully intend to go back again. Maureen and John could not do enough to help, and made us feel very welcome indeed. |

Fantastic! We spent the Easter weekend at Maureen's duplex while we were visiting good friends in Denia.Duplex was perfect.Location great as in a quiet peaceful resedential area but only 5 minute walk to the beach.Propertyin excellent condition and lovely gardens with a pool for kids.Maureen went out of her way to make our stay possible .Would highly recommend.Denia is beautiful part of coast with mountains and coastline where ever you are. "Great holiday!" We stayed at the duplex for a week in October 2013 and enjoyed it very much. We especially liked the east-facing balcony and the west-facing terrace, so we could have sun or shade at any time during the day as desired. The location of the duplex is great: 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach and some shops and restaurants, 5 minutes drive to Denia and all it has to offer, some beautiful mountain views, and 5 minutes walk to the Denia Green Route, where you can walk/cycle through orange groves for kilometers and enjoy even better mountain views. The duplex is well equipped and the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Maureen and John are really nice and very welcoming and helpful.
