A 17th century house renovated with its own local stone thus retaining the magic of the past. The home promises an ideal getaway for a family, couple or friends in a natural environment. On the ground floor, a traditional yard with table and seats made of stone takes you to the main entrance of the living room. Within the room there is a dining table, sofa bed fully decorated with antique furniture and traditional artefacts reminiscent of the past. A connecting kitchen with sea views and fully equipped. Next to the living room, connected by an interior door, a 2 rooms cave apartment, (troglodytic), consisting of one bedroom with semi double bed and a single bed connecting with a kitchenette, stone made WC and shower room. The cave apartment also has its own entrance. Upper floor connects with an internal stairway, a big master bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath, a veranda with a small balcony take you to heaven with their magic, unique views over the sea and mountains, offering total privacy.
The village has remained intact, it is pedestrian and calm.
This is a totally private independent house in this small middle aged village of Platia & it is just one kilometer and 200m away from the 'superb' village of Pyrgos, were you can find shops, museums and tavernas.
Panormos bay with five different beaches is just 5 kilometers away from Platia.
In Panormos you will enjoy local tavernas with fresh fish,
local meat and delicious salads & vegetable dishes.
Tinos islands has more than 45 listed villages to visit and discover, museums, marble craftsmen workshops, superb beaches and water sports.
From Tinos you can easily go for a day trip to Delos and Mykonos (10-30 minutes), to Syros (30 minutes)or to Andros (1h45).
