Small Spanish Village 15 Mins from Torrevieja

Torremendo is a small village located 15 mins from Torrevieja.The beach at Guadamar is also only 15 mins drive,and ideal for Golfers as we have no less than 5 International standard Golf Courses again within 15 mins drive.Torremendo is the ideal place to get away from the fast pace of the costas and just sit back and chill out. The village is nestled in the coastal hills that over look the Costa Blance South. By the Pedrera Embalsa (Lake). Fresh water fishing is available on the lake. There is an abundance of activities in the local area from hill walking to canoeing and archery. Close by is the Village of San Miguel de Salinas where you will find a large weekly Spanish market and a range of international cafes and restaurants. While in Torremendo itself there are Four cafe / bars and a local food store as well as a general store. Fresh meat from the local butchers and fresh bread from the village bakery.As a guide to prices a large beer is 1.50 Euro a large brandy or glass of wine 1 euro.The ideal place to sit on the balcony and just relax and forget all about rushing here there and everywhere. Chill and do what the Spanish do best RELAX. There is now a new Swimming Pool and sports centre in the village as well a new Village Square with Petanca / Boules.

Rental notes

All prices have been reduced this year as we now have an electric meter installed. This is set at the standard rate and is not to make money but to stop abuse. In the past electric has been included but that meant that everyone paid the same price. That meant in turn that if you used fans only you paid the same as people leaving the the Air con on all day while out at the beach or playing golf.
