Features of this accommodation include the air conditioned lounge which has two contemporary style sofas and a flat screen satellite TV with UK channels. The dining area and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Heating is provided in all rooms (for the cooler nights in winter)

The large roof terrace is furnished with 4 sun loungers, a swing seat with shade, table/chairs/parasol and gas BBQ. Many warm summer evenings can be spent up here dining al fresco whilst enjoying the view of Alicante and the distant mountains.

The apartment is located in a complex and the rental fee includes use of the two swimming pools and tennis court. Also included is off the road parking for one car.

Local Area
A guest information folder is provided in the apartment with details on where to find the local supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. The Carabasi beach is a 15 minute walk away. It is a fantastic beach with blue flag status. At Los Arenales (short walk along the beach) many water sport activities can be found.

If you do not want to hire a car while on holiday in Gran Alacant, there is a road train that links up with all the main bar and restaurant areas, the supermarkets and the beach! There is also an excellent bus service that allows you to visit Alicante, Santa Pola and further afield. There are many good restaurants and bars just a short walk from the apartment but just far enough to ensure a quiet relaxing place to enjoy your holiday.

Close to the main road (N-332) there is a small shopping centre with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pharmacy and banks.

Further Afield
Gran Alacant is situated close to the ancient fishing town of Santa Pola which has an Aquarium, Sea Museum & Town Square & Castle. 15 mins drive away is the beautiful city of Alicante with its ancient buildings and castles combined with a modern marina and designer shopping. Further afield you have Benidorm where you can visit several theme parks including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia & Mundomar. Also worth a visit is the historic city of Elche and Tabarca Island (Boat trips available from Santa Pola)

Golf
There are, in total, 9 golf courses within easy reach of Gran Alacant. A summary of just three of them is as follows: El Plantio Golf Club is only a ten minute drive from Gran Alacant and offers you the choice of a 9 hole or an 18 hole course. Set in lovely surroundings the courses are designed to cater for golfers of all levels. Alenda Golf is a 20 minutes drive from Gran Alacant and is designed by Roland Favrat. The 18 hole course has great views across the mountains and the Mediterranean. Other facilities include a driving range, putting course and a bar/restauraunt. Alicante Golf is a 25 minute drive from Gran Alacant. The course was designed by Seve Ballesteros and offers many challenges! Again this course offers great views to make it a day to remember!
