Apartment Shangrila - Your home from home in Calpe

Shangrila is the perfect base for couples and families with small children who wish to visit Calpe and enjoy this spectacular region of the Costa. The one bedroom apartment was refurbished during 2010. The property is situated in the La Vallesa 2 area of Calpe on a quiet residential development.There is no through traffic.

This location offers the beauty of a friendly residential area, with the convenience of two beaches and a lively commercial area a short (between 1 and 2km depending upon which part of Calpe) distance setting gives one a nice balance of feeling"on holiday" but also has you feeling at one with the architecture of the development is "Moorish" with white buildings contrasting against lush green areas and the blue sky.

The one bedroom appartment is a ground floor property in a low rise (two storey) the front of the apartment is your private parking space and a garden/terrace area.Steps lead up to the porch terrace which offers great views down the green valley to the blue seas of the Mediteranain.Inside the accommodation comprises of : Living Area with a two person sofa bed, and tasteful colour coordinated furnishings. For your entertainment a Flat Screen TV/DVD and a CD/Radio/Cassette Player are provided.Ceiling Fans are fitted for your comfort during the warmer months and heaters provided for the cooler nights.A Dining Bar seperates this area from the Kitchen where you will find all required appliances including a Ceramic Hob, Microwave,Small Oven, Kettle and the Bathroom has a bath with shower over. Bedroom offers twin beds,which can be pushed together,a built in Wardrobe,Ceiling Fan and from the window there are nice views of the Penon de Ifach (The Rock).There is a small safe fitted for your valuables.

Situated about 100 meters from the apartment is the private community pool,which has a small shallow area for children,and a large terrace area should you wish to sun yourself by the poolside.

Calpe itself offers two fine white sandy beaches, which sit either side of the Penon de Ifach(the rock )that dominates this coastline.Playa Levante is the closest beach to the apartment and Playa Arenal is the "town beach".Both are blue flag beaches and a great playground for the young and young at heart!.Both beaches are backed by wide promenades where one can stroll and enjoy the colorful shops and cafes.

Places to visit further afield include Alicante, Benidorm, Moraira, Altea and are a short scenic drive from the apartment,or the train can be taken from Calpe Station.There are also boat trips to many of these places from the the more adventurous the Hydrofoil can be taken to the Island of Ibiza from the Port of Denia.Families can enjoy great days out at the theme park Terra Mitica, Mundomar Animal Park or the Aqualandia Water are situated within about 30 minutes of those who enjoy golf there are courses nearby, the nearst being Ifach Golf which is a beautiful small course in a spectacular valley.
