Our sixth-floor, corner flat is part of a beautiful, serviced apartment complex, built into the cliffs overlooking Torre Valentina beach and Palamos bay.
It has just been thoroughly refurbished: we have two new, luxury bathrooms (one with walk-in shower); new bed frames and memory-foam mattresses in all bedrooms; all rooms repainted and redecorated in white.
For flights to and from the UK and other parts of Europe, Girona Airport is just a 30-minute drive away (Barcelona Airport about 90 minutes).
The flat has a reserved, covered parking space.
Perfect for a relaxing summer break or quiet winter retreat, it has a large, corner balcony with sea-view, three double bedrooms (one en-suite, with super king-size mattress; the other two bedrooms can serve as twins, or doubles, with the beds clipped together as king-size). There is a second bathroom (with shower-bath); washing machine; fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and conventional ovens; large (21-feet by 18 feet) living/dining room with hi-fi, 37" Smart TV & Blu-Ray/multi-region DVD player. Fast wi-fi throughout.
We've plenty of bathroom and beach towels and a wide selection of beach gear and beach-friendly toys.
Communal facilities include three outdoor swimming pools (one on the fifth-floor solarium and one a 25-meter lane pool; see pictures), three floodlit tennis courts, poolside bar/restaurant, landscaped gardens and kids' playground, table tennis, billiards and a small indoor gym with treadmills, bike, cross-trainer & pilates/yoga floor.
The apartment is two minutes' walk from sandy Torre Valentina beach, with several small, secluded coves nearby. There are two large supermarkets 1km away and excellent local restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Most local shops and restaurants are open year-round, not just in high season.
