Available for long term letting only. The Fortunamar apartment is situated on the coast, next to the vintage golf course at Torrequebrada with magnificent sea views. A good sized apartment with 2 bedrooms well planned out so it has the feel of a house, very private complex nicely set out in the style of an Andalucian village with gardens and swimming pool. You also benefit from private car parking.

Torrequebrada is west of Malaga, next to the Costa Del Sol resort of Benalmadena.

Malaga International Airport is 15 minutes drive and is convenient for holiday-makers travelling from most British and other European airports.

Benalmadena is made up of three different villages - in the hills is Benalmadena Pueblo, a beautiful Andalucian village of whitewashed houses and flowers covering the balconies in the narrow streets.

Closer to the coast is Arroyo de la Miel ("Stream of Honey" in English) a small but modern and fashionable town of shops and businesses, popular with tourists.

Finally, on the coast is Benalmadena Costa with a 9km long beach and a 2km long promenade with a multitude of fabulous restaurants and bars.

Perfect for a swim or sunbathing. The lawn is landscaped to provide quiet areas for private sunbathing or if you prefer you can join other residents around the swimming pool. Everyone is very friendly and will make you feel welcome. If you are more energetic there is a full size tennis court and a basketball pracice area.

There are extensive gardens lovingly tended by our Spanish gardener who works full time to keep the area looking in tip top condition. The gardens are blessed with a multitude of beautiful trees, flowering shrubs and mediteranean plants & flowers, including Frangipani, palm trees, cactii.

There are secluded beaches and coves literally a stones-throw away in front of Fortunamar.

Benalmadena boasts the finest yacht marina in Southern Spain. The Marina and the main resort of Benalmadena are within walking distance of Fortunamar.

Local Attractions
The Apartment is near the fabulous local Paloma Park where there are animals for the children to enjoy including dolphins. Many amenities are within easy reach locally, including: Tivoli World fun park and 2 Water Theme Parks; Sea Life and Dolphin Safari. If the weather turns, then for a day out why not take a short trip to the Crocodile Park or Selwo Adventure/ Safari Park in nearby Estepona.

There are three local supermarkets within easy walking distance offering a wide selection of everything you need together with specialist shops such as a wonderful cake shop for your early morning bread. A short drive or bus ride away there are huge modern shopping malls in Fuengirola and Malaga.

Local Transport
Bus services stop close to the apartment several times every hour, taking you to Benalmadena village - Arroya del Miel _ Benalmadena Marina - Benalmadena costa. There are also regular buses to Carvajal, Los Boliches and Fuengirola. Clean, punctual and convenient rail travel is available in Benlmadena and Fuengirola to connect to anywhere else in Spain. Gibralta is approximately 90 minutes drive using the Mediteranean Motorway.
