The Cottage Formerly a Stable has been lovingly restored to provide comfortable and rustic accommodation and offers far-reaching views towards the local mountains and the Sierra Nevada beyond. The surrounding countryside is covered with tracks, making it an ideal spot for those who enjoy country walks.
The Cottage is in a rural spot, along an unamde country lane (dirt track) yet only 1 Kilometre away from the local By-pass, which takes you into Marbella in about 15 minutes and Malaga Airport in about 30 minutes.
The Cottage is a must for nature lovers. It is located in a beautiful part of the Andalucian countryside, which is covered with a large variety of wild flowers and herbs, including Lavender, Thyme and Sage and makes it a natural habitat for Partridge.
It consists of 17.000 square metres (4 Acres)of rural land and the Cottage is in a fenced area of about 3.000 square metres(1 Acre approx), which contains some mature Olive trees and a variety of young fruit trees, e.g. Orange, lemons and avocados.
The water at the Cottage is the best mineral water in this area and drinkable.
It is pump-up from our sealed well, which has a borehole 500 feet deep below the earth and filtered naturally.
The property is totally self-contained with own gates and parking area
The nearest towns are Coin and Ahaurin-El-Grande, which are about 5 and 10 minutes drive. Both Towns have lots of Supermarkets, Shops, Banks and also an Open-Air Market once a week.

A starter pack of logs is provided for the stove in winter. Extra logs can be bought locally.

There is a Terrace with a Pergola and a Barbecue.
This is where you can spend some time reading, having a meal or simply enjoying the scenery with the fragance of Jasmin and Honeysuckle. Sit under one of the many mature Olive trees providing a welcoming shade, a Hammock, 2 Sun Loungers, 2 Reclining Chairs, 2 Parasols, Table and 4 Chairs are provided.
All outside furniture is supplied with cushions.
And for those long hot summer days, your own “Private Swimming Pool” with underwater lighting and a paved area.
The Land is covered with a variety of young fruit trees e.g. Avocado, Apricot, Fig, Orange, Lemon etc. and when in season, the fruit may be picked by our guests.
This area is also well known for:
Mountain Walks, Cycling, or Horse Riding, with stables that cater for the beginner and the professional.
The Beach is a 30-minutes drive
Malaga Airport a 35-minutes drive
The Sierra Nevada is a 2.1/2 hours drive where it is possible to ski and snowboard.
We recommend that you Hire a car.
The car will also give you the opportunity to see the area.
The famous White Villages and Lakes, are not far away and are worth exploring.
Situated in the valley of the Rio Grande in the province of Malaga, Coín is one of the most up and coming villages on the Costa del Sol. This once small village is expanding at an amazing pace and is fast becoming a place of residence for many foreigners. There are about 20,000 registered residents.
Coín is located about a 30-minutes drive from Fuengirola and 20 minutes from Mijas. Coín also houses and important ceramics factory, located on the main road from Fuengirola and a working film studio that was once the set for the TV series‘El dorado’. The studio is located on the outskirts of Coín, alongside the main highway to Marbella. The studio is also used as a hotel and restaurant. The centre of Coín has a wonderful plaza where the old Town Hall is located and local residents sit and while away the hours. The new Town Hall is located in another new plaza with an underground car park, fountains, gardens and several fine bars. The small, narrow streets are lined with family owned shops.
A new commercial centre, ‘La Trocha’ has been built on the outskirts of town. It is located on the road to Cartama and contains numerous department stores including Dunnes, various food outlets including Burger King and a multi-screen cinema with Films in Englih about once a week.
