Buganvilia is a First floor apartment (with lift) in quiet location, a few minutes walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. Accomodation comprises 3 bedrooms ( 2 twin and 1 with bunk beds and a pull-out bed), 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). Bright, spacious lounge/dining room opens onto balcony. Fully equiped kitchen and a separate utility area.
Close by are café/bar and mini-supermarket (summer season only). The town centre is just a 10 minute walk. The apartment contains TV (local stations only), DVD Player, Radio Cassette, fridge, washing machine and Central Heating. There is garage parking and Lift access. Mobile phone reception is good. Prices include for provision of linen and bath/hand towels and weekly cleaning.
The apartment is ideal for families or small groups, and is fully Centrally Heated making it comfortable during the winter months.
NB. Whilst the availability of a lift enables 'assisted access' for wheelchairs, please note that the apartment has not been modified in any way, and offers no special facilities in this regard. Please enquire direct for details.
Buganvilia is located in the quiet residential area called El Pinaret, just south of Port De Pollenca town centre. This area has the advantages of being apparantly 'away from it all' but is actually within very easy walking distance of the lively but friendly port and town. There is no nightlife on the doorstep to disturb, but it is easily accessable on foot and a car is not neccessary except to venture further afield. The local beach is safe, spacious and not prone to overcrowding, and there is a sailing/windsurfing school on your doorstep if you are so inclined. The nearest Restaurant 'Bar Tolus' is on the sea front (apparantly always open) good for snacks and light meals with friendly staff - its almost too convenient !
Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca) is situated at the NE corner of the island in an attractive bay with excellent beaches. The nearby mountains that run along the north coast offer spectacular scenery and other interesting places to visit. The old market town of Pollenca is just a 15 minute drive inland and well worth investigating.
