Sleeps 8. 4 bedroom spacious detached villa with a private swimming pool and panoramic views towards the Bernia Mountains. Superb location, being only a 10 minute walk to blue flag beaches, shops, bars and restaurants and a 5 minute drive into Calpe

Villa Sarabanda is a spacious villa - ideal for family holidays within the seaside resort of Calpe in Spain.

The nearest airport to Calpe is Alicante. There are numerous budget airlines that fly into Alicante airport.

There are three bedrooms upstairs sleeping 6 and a studio flat downstairs which will sleep 2. The main living and sleeping area is on the upper floor and is approached by an external staircase, which leads onto a substantial terraced area that is covered and overlooks the villa's swimming pool. The terrace has ample room for the enjoyment of alfresco meals and has wonderful southerly views over towards the Sierra Bernia Mountain range. Within the villa there is a good-sized dining and lounge area and a separate well fitted kitchen. The interior of the villa is furnished tastefully throughout.

The downstairs studio is accessed through the sunroom. There is a large twin bedded sleeping area with an additional day bed / sofa. Ample room also for a Toddlers Cot if required. During the Hottest summer months the downstairs studio is the coolest room in the house to sleep in. The Studio has a small shower room and also a Kitchen area with fridge and contains the house washing machine.

At the front of the villa is a standard sized swimming pool, with roman steps leading into the shallow end. Adjoining the swimming pool is a sun-terrace area with pool side furniture and a mosaic tiled wrap around pool side shower.

To the rear of the villa is an interesting Cactus garden with Pine and Eucalyptus trees.

Within a lovely 10 to 15 minutes walk from the villa are blue flag beaches and a good variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Within 5 minutes drive are supermarkets and within 5 to 8 minutes drive is Calpe town itself with a wide range of shopping facilities, banks etc.

The villa is approx 1 hour and 15 minutes car drive from Alicante airport - using the fast toll road into Calpe (5.40 Euros) - Car Hire is advised for families. We use "Do you Spain" - car hire service from the airport. (Taxi transfers are extortionate).

Collecting baggage and sorting Car Hire can take up to an hour at the airport.

If you prefer, there is a shuttle mini bus service from the airport and back. The mini bus service is with a company called "Beniconnect". This is a very handy service for smaller groups etc. They charge approx 18 Euros per person each way (£15) - Approx £30 return service per person. You have to pre-book this service before arrival at the airport.

The nearest drop off and pick up bus stop to our villa in Calpe is either the Diamonte Hotel - (across the road from the (Abahana Villa Office) - // or slightly up the road the Galatemar Hotel.

Key Collection is from the Abahana Rental Office in Calpe.
Arrival on Saturdays : from 5pm to 8pm
The Abahana Office is 3 minutes car drive from villa Sarabanda.

Our rental agents will ensure that the villa is cleaned and prepared with the beds made ready for your arrival at the villa.

Please note that there is a standardized one off preparation and cleaning fee of approx £140 - for each booking made at villa Sarabanda. This fee will be added onto the total rental when securing a booking.

This is a charming villa, in an excellent location, totally private and quiet but with great views and within walking distance of a lovely beach and the fantastic Bar Grizzly. There is everything you need in the villa, it is comfortable and sympathetically furnished. A wonderful place to chill, watch the sun go down or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. There's a very nice self-contained lower floor that was very useful for our extended family. We had a lovely holiday here and soaked up the late October sun - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa for its wonderful position and location, its charming atmosphere and generous accommodation.

Rental notes

Minimum stay and Arrival day.

The minimum stay is 4 nights, starting on any day of the week, except for the period from June 1 to September 30, when the minimum stay is 7 nights, starting on a Saturday

Prices include linen, towels, local taxes etc. (not beach towels).

During the Low and Winter Season - there is flexibility with arrival & departure dates along with entry and exit times.

During the High & Mid Seasons the villa is rented out on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis only.
When planning flights, please bear in mind that normal entry time is 17.00 and departure is by 11.30am
Sorry - No pets are allowed within the villa.
No smoking is permitted within the villa - however smoking is allowed on the covered terrace.
Booking deposit - 25%
Balance to be paid - 2 months prior to arrival.
Final Cleaning charge - 189Euros
