The Los Dolses/Villamartin area is popular with golfers and non-golfers alike and boasts 3 championship golf courses within the vicinity and many more in the surrounding area. The coast is well known for its beautiful sandy beaches, many of which have been awarded a blue flag for their cleanliness and safety making them ideal for families.
One of these is La Zenia- a 5 minute drive away. Villamartin offers a wide varied selection of restaurants, bars and cafes- the nearby Rioja and Los Dolses commercial centres are ideal and only a 2 minute walk away.
The town of Cabo Roig offers a good alternative night out. Torrevieja is just a short drive away where a large market, evening street stalls, the marina and great Spanish cuisine gives a good feel of the real Spain.
A car is not necessary, but useful.
