Message  I just wanted to say that my friends and I had a wonderful time at the Dairy House - the house itself is beautifully decorated with lovely bedding and surroundings, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment facilities in the house as well, especially the pool/ping pong table. There were also a few competitive souls playing Mario Kart and Just Dance a lot of the time! It really was one of the best equipped, most attractively decorated houses I have ever stayed in, and whilst at first it seemed that being surrounded by neighbours might be a problem, it really wasn't as they are far enough away to not cause a bother to us and apparently not us to them either. Myself and everyone else who came agreed that it was an absolutely brilliant weekend in a fabulous house - I actually got a lot of compliments on my good choice of property! So thank you again, and please pass my thanks on to Ken as well, who gave a very thorough tour of the property on arrival. Oh, and the hamper that was provided was a lovely touch as well.

Message  Nothing other than fulsome praise for the Dairy House. I spoke to both Alison and Ken the owners as we were delayed in leaving Brighton and both were professional yet friendly. The house was spotless and well equipped. Local pub, taxi firms and karting track all came good, a winner all round!

Message  The house, gardens, furnishings and equipment are really first class and the cot, stairgates and highchair were brilliant for the children. I particularly liked the sunroom first thing in the morning, sat with my tea and toast while reading the paper with the first rays of the day. The house is really stylish with a hint of fun to be found which really made me feel relaxed - Thank you

We arrived at the house and entered the front door. Immediately there was a welcoming feeling of warmth. The dining table laid and the Christmas tree welcoming us with its twinkling lights.

The house was beautifully decorated to a high standard including all amenities. There was something for everyone - large cooker for meals to be prepared; television in some of the rooms; games room for fun. The games room was well thought out with the Wii and pool table which converted into a table tennis table. Bedrooms were tastefully furnished and the beds very comfortable. They even had a small selection of toddler toys. Considering there were 16 of us we never felt it was overcrowded or that we couldn't find space of our own. The house is well situated and the sea could be seen from the lounge. A short 30 minute walk along the sea front took us to the ferry port, from there we took a 5 minute ferry ride to Gunwharf Quays which had leisure facilities, restaurants and many designer outlet stores. Many a bargain was had that day!

Overall a lovely house, great location and would certainly book it again in the future.

Message  Our family of 17 stayed at The Dairy House over New Year 2011/12. We had a wonderful time, the house was immaculate throughout, comfortable and well equipped, catering for the whole family which ranged in age from 5 to 77 years old. The bedrooms were very flexible and easily coped with the individual needs, the games room was a real hit with both children and adults, and was perfectly positioned.
We would certainly recommend The Dairy House to anyone looking for a house to accommodate a large group.

Message  The Dairy House was decorated more like a boutique hotel than a holiday rental, with lovely bedding, towels laid out for our arrival and even the dining room table set. The kitchen was really well equipped, there was an unexpected "welcome pack" of essentials and the numerous bathrooms meant there was never any waiting for a shower - even with 15 girls wanting to glam up on Saturday night. We had great fun in the games rooms; the Wii dance being a particular hit. The only tiny, tiny thing was that there's no cafetiere or equivalent in the house (or we didn't find it) - which was no problem as I did actually bring one - I'm not very good without a cup of coffee in the morning. For such an amazingly well equipped house this was the only thing that wasn't there that we could possibly have wanted.

Message  It was a pleasure to have stayed in the house, set in a good location with easy access within Gosport and M3 and M27, as well as having direct ferry to Portsmouth. We had pleasant weather during our stay so we were lucky to be able to walk all the way from the house to the ferry port and do a spot of shopping around Gunwharf Quay. The house itself was well set up with all the the decoration found to be in high quality, as well as clean presentation which were greatly appreciated by our guests. The bedding and bathrooms were very comfortable to use, as well as the food hamper which helped us with the general essential items. The owner was very well organised and was clear with all the instructions and guides (instruction book), as well as being able to provide details about the local areas. No suggested improvements could be made - the stay was perfect, as was the house. We would stay again in the future.
