We had a fantastic time at Cabopino Park and the bungalow was ideal for our needs - it's well equipped, spacious, modern and quiet. We loved sitting out on the decking for meals, reading, playing cards etc, as a family. The site is well run and has good facilities. Planning the holiday all went smoothly with Rebecca's support and Geoff and Marian ensured that we had everything we needed whilst on site - everyone has been very helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. We loved the area with great local beaches, shops and places to visit. Public transport from the airport worked well - the train to Fuengirola (8 euros for a family of 4 each way!) and then a bus to Cabopino. We only needed to hire a car for a week to explore the local area; although we could have managed with public transport. We enjoyed a coach trip to Gibraltar too. We also had a trip to the 'Hospital Costa del Sol', as the doctors was closed last Saturday - nothing too serious and all is well now. We would recommend trips to Lake Istan, Cala de Mijas and Mijas de Piablo. We were disappointed that we didn't fit in a trip to the Picasso Museum in Malaga. We liked the restaurant on site - great food and value and also the chinese/thai restaurant at the harbour. We found Da Bruno's over-priced and the service unfriendly. | Message | We had a great holiday, the caravan is just what you need as a base, it is very clean and has all of the essentials for your stay. The caravan is at the top of a steep hill so not ideal if you have mobility problems. The site is great the on site restaurant Brunos is fantastic as is the small cafe/supermarket. The walk to the beach is only short which is great if you have lots to take to the beach. The nearest supermarket is a good half hour walk and we would recommend a taxi back with all of your shopping. Cabopino camping was a great place to have our hols we would recommend it to anyone,think we'd hire a car next time though the taxi fares are a little steep! | ||||||

Had a wonderful time in August 2010, we were there for 3 weeks and the weather/accomodation/facilities were perfect. The bungalow is lovely and the outside area is lovely to sit and enjoy the sun with a pull over roof incase it gets too hot. Pool and restaurants are all fab as well.
