We visited Gulluk for the first time this year .. two adults and and a 12 year old .. and rented apartment 2B Olive Tree .... arrived early in the morning and our taxi was waiting just as arranged. 15 minutes later we were at our apartment !! The apartment was fantastic .. real quality ..with everything as described in the feature .. but ... Wow ! woke up to the the most fantastic views over the bay and across to the lovely little village of Oba .. from where the dolmus runs past the apartment into town at a cost of 1.5tl each way !!! The pool complex is magnificent .. again with those great views ..and never too busy ..so lots of sunloungers !! Gulluk town is charming ... not picturesque ..but real Turkey ..with wonderful friendly people .. great restaurants offering fantastic value !! Don't really want to say too much more .. cos..like to keep it for ourselves .. but .. if you want to see sunsets that are like a movie set .. doesn't get much better than just sitting on the balcony here with a glass of something !! Nick .. the owner put us in contact with his local associate Burak .. who was great .. nothing was too much trouble and made us feel really welcome .. as did everyone we met !
