Our stay at Finca San Anton was everything we wanted it to be and more!! I would like to call our accomodations a cottage rather than an apartment as it is situated in such a beautiful country setting, so peaceful and quiet. Perched upon a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Finca San Anton offers stunning views and a tranquil setting that is just a 15 minute walk to the small village of Mijas. We enjoyed soaking up the sun around the pool and sipping wine at night on our patio over looking the Med. Fabulous!! Looking down from Finca San Anton the countryside surrounding the property is dotted with horse farms and country estates before it hits the coast line of the Mediterranean. We enjoyed cooking our own meals in our cottage as well as walking into Mijas to sample the many restaurants. As described on the web page Finca San Anton is everything it claims to be and we hope to visit again. Thank you Charlotte for everything we enjoyed every minute of our vacation. When you look up Finca San Anton it is listed under apartments, but when you arrive and experience the mysteries and beauties of the place, you quickly realize that Finca San Anton is SO much more than just an apartment. The luscious garden, buzzing with life; the crystal clear pool that seems to float out into the Mediterranean; and the finished and unfinished art scattered all over serves as a testament to the creative minds who build Finca San Anton from scratch. Really, the entire place is like an island of solace perched atop the Mediterranean where you can find peace and quiet. For me and my girlfriend, Finca San Anton was that island for one - far too short! - week. |

Thank you for letting us share your wonderful house and art with us. We really felt away from the al the tourist-buzz, and you are a wonderfull host. And what a view !!! Truly breathtaking. Thank you for allowing us to stay. We had a great time and are already missing the place. As your photos suggest, everything about it is unique! The apartment was great, bright and airy with everything we needed. In the morning we would pull back the curtains, open the doors and view the ocean, with a fresh cup of coffee and the sound of the birds....this is a world away from London. We loved the privacy, spectacular views, pool, fruit trees - I had never eaten fresh figs before! Tranquillity, culture ...the list is endless. Your hospitality was very much appreciated, and we will definately like to visit again. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Finca San Anton and marvelled at the stunning panoramic views which were beautifully lit up at night for us to enjoy whilst sipping red wine on our lovely patio. The pool was gorgeous and so was our apartment - bright and spacious with a wonderfully comfy bed. We managed perfectly well without a car and enjoyed the scenic walk into Mijas, where there were lots of restaurants, shops and more stunning views. Bus links to the surrounding area were also good and easily accessible. This apartment is a real treasure and a wonderful location for both relaxation and exploring the local area. |
