Reviews of Clover Court.1 Bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) in Altinkum (5034) Date  10-11-2009 Rating  Name  Jan Message  Hi, Thanks Sharron for making this trip so successful - very easy to book even if it was last minute nothing was a problem for you. Lovely apartment great complex with the added advantage of having 24hour security. The staff at Clover Court are very helpful and friendly and I really enjoyed my stay there. Clover Court is in an ideal location, local shop nearby for the basics and a nice walk down into Didim for more choice at the big supermarket. Lots of restautants nearby especially some good local ones but if you fancy a bit more nightlife then Altinkum is not too far away. Message  Well we said we would go back for two weeks this time & we did.We were collected at the airport & driven straight to Clover court where once more the security guard carried our cases & let us into the apartmentwith no fuss whatsoever.It was just as we had remebered it and now feels like our second home.The pool bar was open this time which serves really nice reasonably priced food & the staff are lovely, we spent quite a lot of time here & got to know lots of other people staying at the complex.We also got out & about, we did a boat trip which was fab, we also visited Akbuk which is beautiful but very quiet, but one of our favourite trips was to the night market at Mevisher, we caught the dolmus just outside the apartment it was about a 20 min trip, we found that the stall holders here do not hassle you but leave you to browse then when we finished our shopping we walked a short distance down the road to a small harbour with several Turkish seaside cafes, we had a lovely meal with 2 beers for around 20 lire (about £8).We did find that our money really went round but the nicest thing of all was that we met up with people who run bars & resteraunts & were greeted like long lost friends .Guess what! we loved it so much we are in the process of booking again for next May . Date  15-09-2009 Rating  Name  Luke -June 2009 Message  Dave and Sharron were a pleasure to deal with and were quick to email back with the answers to any of our queries. The driver was very friendly and was waiting for us on time for both the arrival and departure. It was very easy to both pick up return the keys as there was a 24hr security guard on site who dealt with it. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and a maid came once a week to supply us with new sheets and towels. It was very well decorated with air conditioning, washing machine, hobs and TV/DVD. Everything we needed was in the apartment and the rep was available if we were to need anything else. The pool was a good size and always clean, the bar was well stocked with food and drink, the bar staff were very friendly as was our rep – they even invited us out for drinks with them! The ‘dolmus’ (bus) which took us to town stopped directly outside the complex and was very regular – and very cheap. We couldn’t have asked for more. The information about the appliances was good, with instructions on how to use them. There was a map of local amenities and restaurant suggestions. We had a lovely time, the weather was gorgeous and the complex surpassed our expectations. Everyone at Clover Court was very friendly, there was a mixture of families and couples, many of whom own the apartments and told us they’d be coming back every year. The pool was a good size and the complex was peaceful and quiet at night, and with the town only a short cab/bus ride away we were the perfect distance from the lively town to get a good nights sleep when we got in! The town had lots of bars and restaurants; we went to one just at the end of the beach which sold beautiful fresh fish, it was a little more ‘upscale’ than some of the other restaurants but the bill was still extremely reasonable. I would recommend Meandros Village as a great restaurant and it’s only across the road from the apartment. They sold a variety of traditional Turkish food and gave us lots of free meze to start. Apart from eating out, the local shops are also really cheap and have everything you need to make a lunch or a breakfast in the apartment. We had a very relaxing holiday; going into town for meals and drinks, visiting the beach and going on a boat trip, there was lots for us to do as a couple. It’s a place I’d recommend any couple or family to visit and somewhere I would love to return to in the future. Date  19-08-2009 Rating  Name  Phil & Maria Message  Phil & Maria August 2009 We both enjoyed our stay at Clover Court and found it to be a very friendly and enjoyable place to stay. We would definately go back again but in the cooler months as it was hot for us in August. There was information in the apartment on things to do and where to go and also other guest were friendly and told us places to visit and how to get there. The overall standard of Clover Court and the apartment were excellent. The security staff gave us our keys on arrival this was an excellent service and we found them to be very helpful. There is a bar/restaraunt on site which was very useful and the people who run it are very nice. Date  19-08-2009 Rating  Name  Ellie & Luke Message  Our holiday in Clover Court June 2009The driver was there as soon and we landed and drove us directly to Clover Court. When we returned the driver arrived to collect us promptly and stopped for refreshments on the way to the air port. When we arrived at Clover Court we were taken to our apartment by the security officer and let in, he then handed us the keys, and we returned the key to the security office when we departed. The apartment was beautifully clean when we arrived and smelt very fresh, we had a mid-stay clean after a week and the apartment was thoroughly cleaned and the bed linen was changed. During this clean the bed linen and towels were also washed. The apartment was very comfortable and practical. The complex was very nice and welcoming, the plants were always beautifully tended and the pool was always clean, the complex included a small play ground which would be ideal for children as well as a kids pool. The bar served good food, which was very cheap and convenient and was run by very friendly chatty staff. The holiday was lovely, it was great having our own balcony and the apartment was fantastic. Ample storage space for clothes etc. and had a very nice shower. It was easy to get to the beach and the town of Altinkum a most restaurants offer a collection and drop off services, there is the local dolmus, as well as the free Asem bus. It was a great holiday and I can't wait to go back. Date  31-05-2009 Rating  Name  Mal & Elaine Green. Message  Wow! We have never been to Turkey before although we holiday abroad twice a year. What an eye opener,The apartment was fabulous beautifully furnished with all mod cons.We arrived at about 11.30 pm & the security guard took us to the apartment with no fuss no forms to fill,in which after a days travel was great.We were the first people to stay in the apartment and everyone on the complex was helpful and friendly,our stay of ten days wasn`t long enough we found our way around using the local dolmus or mini bus,always catch the No 40,[which was 2.5 tl for both of us] into Altinkum,we did walk a couple of times or walked to Didim town & caught the bus from there.Once in Altinkum there are 3 beaches all clean & beautiful but we spent most of our time on the main beach.We really liked the Vista bar on the front & one next to it called the Sunshine bar we went to turkish theme nights in both of these & they picked us up & returned us to our apartment free of charge!!!closer to the apartment we walked to Cafe In just down the hill on the main rd they treated us like family & we got to know a lot of other Brits all either on holiday or owning their own apartments,also just a few streets away was Bar One and a brand new Chinese/Indian restaurant we had the nicest Indian meal we have ever had abroad and we've had a few, What made our holiday was the friendliness of the local people,they are so happy & helpful we couldn`t believe it,suffice to say we booked to go again as soon as we got home & are staying for 2 weeks in September 13 weeks & counting We can`t wait.All I can say if you haven`t been you must try it & we would totally recommend a stay in this lovely apartment.
