Having spent many holidays in various excellent hotels on Barbados we decided to 'try' a villa holiday. We're hooked - we loved the freedom a villa allows and Ingrid has made sure the villa is very well equipped. Kerri-Ann, the housekeeper is lovely, very friendly and helpful-the villa is kept absolutely spotless. For us, the location is perfect - 2 minutes walk from the beach and the warm,calm waters of the St James Coast. JuJu's Beach Bar is just across the road and is perfect for extremely reasonably priced local home cooking or cocktails at sunset-beach style. When we felt in the mood for a more sophisticated lunch or evening meal we strolled across to the Lone Star-good food and a bit of 'star spotting'! Holetown is a 20 minute walk away and has a good and varied selection of restaurants and bars. Needless to say, we have just booked our third holiday to Porters Court!
