Message  We have just returned from our second stay at this beautifully appointed apartment and are already considering booking again!
The apartment is in a very quiet location, but is just minutes from the main road. The facilities both within the apartment and in the complex are first rate and we cannot recommend it highly enough!

I found it met our needs perfectly, the apartment was furnished very well.
It contained everything we required to have an excellent holiday.
The pool was nice and never busy.
The apartment is in a great location close to so many interesting places to visit.
Had very nice holiday and would have no hesitation in booking it again.

Message  Dear Ray and Marilyn
We have had a lovely time in beautiful surroundings. The weather has been excellent. The apartment and grounds are a haven of tranquility with fantastic views and friendly people to chat to every day (English and Spanish attempts). Exciting trips to all the local suggestions, Casares village, Estepona, Duquesa port. We also visited the country club Volvo hotel and Puerto Banus. Lots of meals out and in.
How wonderful to have a green Spain so far South.

Message  Hi Ray nd Marilyn,
Just a short e-mail to let you know that we have now returned to the UK after our
holiday in Casares Real. We had a bit of journey down to find the property as there
was a storm and it was difficult to see out of the windscreen let alone read the
signes. However, we got there in the end thanks to the help of Dot and her Husband.
Apparently it was the worst rainfall for several years. When we drove up to Rhonda
during the week, the roads were covered in mudslides and broken tarmac. It was a good experience and tested our driving. What a wonderful place Rhonda is.
We had a truly fantastic time at your appartment. Just the peace and quiet we werelooking for and during the week the weather improved so we just chilled out. We hope to return at some later date. Loved the paintings and could tell that the owners had a great eye for colour and balance. A wonderful appartment and very well equipped and set out. (we have a passion for 'projects'. We have just finished a small buildinghere in Cornwall and quite like the look of the derelict house opposite (the two storeyone), may do some research to see what is possible)!!!! We are both 67 this year andour children think we are quite mad!!!!Thank you again, Kind regads, Tony and Sue March 10 2010ᆦ

Message  My friend and I had a fantastic holiday staying at this fabulous apartment. The owners were really helpful with the arrangements for the keys and giving us directions. The apartment itself is finished beautifully and provided with everything you'd ever think of needing whilst on holiday. The pool is a great size, well maintained and in a lovely garden setting. Being a shared pool with the other apartments was not a problem at all as it only really got busy around 4pm and the people were really friendly. It was useful having the beach, a restaurant/bar and garage/shop within walking distance and plenty of supermarkets to choose from. Would definitely consider a return visit! We had a fantastic holiday! The weather was hot but there was a breeze off the sea which kept temperatures down a bit! You have a lovely apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there.
Thank you so much again Catherine 20/7/08

"We have just spent a lovely week at the apartment. It had everything you needed - home from home. The apartment itself, the grounds and pool area were spotlessly clean. We went to Gibraltar, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Casares and Mijas. The coastline was lovely and all food and drink were excellent. It was a shame we had only booked a week. We would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing break away. The views from the balcony were lovely and it was so quiet and peaceful."" Janet 10/8/06

It was good to know we had a cosy apartment to return to each evening. it was the best apartment we have stayed in with everything we needed, also very private. there was plenty to do, Casares, Mijas, and Ojen are worth a visit hope to return sometime soon. Janet and Sharon north Yorks" March 2006

This is just a short note to thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful apartment.
I would like to compliment you on how beautifully you have decorated the apartment. I was very impressed by the Indian cushions everywhere, the chandeliers, the mirrors, the lovely little coloured "ice cubes" you have in so many receptacles and Ray's very evocative watercolours. Obviously an awful lot of love and affection has gone into designing and decorating the flat. All the little extras such as lots of big fluffy white towels, the good quality bed linen, the body lotions and bubble bath, hair-drier and the very well and tastefully equipped kitchen just added to our enjoyment.

We managed to visit a lot of places while we were there, Sevilla, Jerez de La Frontera where we saw some beautiful horsemanship in the Escuela Real de Arte Ecuestre and visited the sherry bodegas. We visited Gibraltar, Casares (which was the higlight of the trip for me as it evoked so beautifully the real Andalusia) Gaucin, Ronda, the Alcazaba in Malaga and the wonderful Picasso museum. We even managed to get up to Granada to visit the Alhambra and the Real life. We hadn't been for 20 years and although it was the middle of winter this time, the place never ceases to amaze us with its amazing architecture. Tarifa with its wonderfully wide and unspoilt coast line is a place I would like to visit again and the old part of the city is very Moorish and attractive. All in all we spent an amazing 9 days in Andalusia and it was lovely coming back to a cosy and welcoming apartment at the end of each day. Thank you so much.
