Gifts of locally grown fruit, honey and yoghurt are just part of the warm welcome awaiting you by owners Marina and Patrick Petroutsou. They are resident at the studios and, over the years,have become welll-known for their generous Greek hospitality.
Each of their spacious air-conditioned studios is traditionally furnished with twin-beds and there is ample room for an extra bed or cot if needed. Each apartment has a south-facing balcony with breath-taking views over the Ionian sea, the sweeping bay of Lourdas and across to the island of Zante.
The suites have open-plan compact kitchenettes with good storage and equipment to enable guests to prepare meals such as salads, pasta and soup, washed down with island wine or Greek coffee! All these ingredients can be bought in the village supermarkets or at the colourful fruit and vegetable stalls in the island’s capital town Argostoli just 20 minutes’ drive by car.
Guests can spend the day in the grounds, swim and relax around the large pool or enjoy the safe, local beaches of Lourdas,Kanali and Trapezaki. In the evening there are a variety of restaurants, tavernas and bars often with live music and Greek dancing to enjoy.
Although guests will be met at the airport and escorted to Marina Studios which are approximately 20 minutes drive, it is strongly recommended that visitors hire a car for either the duration of their stay or a few days in order to explore the island and visit the main town of Argostoli.
