3 bedroom family villa with private pool, sleeps 6.

This well-maintained and fully air-conditioned private 3 bed-roomed villa sleeps 6 in comfort, has its own pool and 3 outdoor terraces. It is situated in the village of Sesmarias, close to the picturesque village of Carvoeiro, on the coast, about 40 minutes drive from Faro airport. There are 3 family beaches within a few minutes drive.

The lounge has an open wood burning fireplace with French windows to front terrace and sun room. There is a small stereo system and a portable CD player plus TV with BBC, ITV and Sky News, DVD player plus a fast internet wifi. There are 3 sofas and a large dining table to seats 6 +.

Casa Christina has 3 bedrooms, all with large fitted wardrobes. One large twin with en-suite bathroom, 1 double bedroom with shower en-suite and 1 twin bedded room. All bathrooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard and there is also a family bathroom off the hallway. Hot water is provided from solar panels.

There is a modern and fully equipped kitchen with large double oven, microwave, four ring hob, extra large fridge/freezer and the usual electrical appliances. It is well stocked with crockery, utensils, pans etc.

The private pool (7 by 3.5 metres) is partially heated by solar panels and is maintained (twice weekly) by external contractors, and the pool terrace has ample furniture in the form of sun-beds, chairs and parasols and lovely views towards the sea and over the neighbouring valley. The covered built-in barbeque is situated near to a gate giving easy access to the kitchen. This and the gate at the front of the terrace provides a safe enclosed area to and from the pool.

There are several fine sandy beaches within 10 minutes drive including Carvoeiro, Canerios, Pinheiros and Ferragudo. The latter is particularly safe for children being inside the harbour breakwater. All beaches have good beach bars and restaurants.

There are several good restaurants within 10 - 15 minutes walking distance although a car is recommended for transport from the airport and trips to the beaches and for shopping. There are many attractions including water parks, Zoomarine, local markets and picturesque towns and villages within a short drive.
