Bystander of Man ~~~ Designed by Charles Nicholson and built by Camper & Nicholson in 1934, "Bystander" was commissioned in the thirties by W. Stephenson, the owner of the world famous J Class "Velsheda" to support its racing program. It also offered accomodation for guests. Today, two modern ships also named Bystander have been built to offer support. The original tender of Velsheda, "Bystander" renamed "Bystander of Man" has been completely restored and recently upgraded. Now Bystander is ready again to follow the classical races like in the old times
