ALTINKUM - COME AND ENJOY!

GENERAL
My ground floor apartment is 10 mins walk from Didim and the beach. The apartment sleeps 8 and is accessed from street level by 4 steps downwards into the surrounding patio, garden and pool areas. It's in a quiet location just outside of the town centre and the local people are very helpful and friendly as are all the local shopkeepers.

REQUIREMENTS
This is not simply a rental apartment - it's also my home for several months of the year so, for the comfort and safety of myself and future renters there is a no smoking policy in and around the apartment.

SUPERMARKETS, BANKS, LOCAL CASHPOINTS, TAXIS
There are mini supermarkets everywhere so you're never far from a pint of milk and a loaf, fruit and veg etc. But if you really can't bear to be far from a larger supermarket, then you have CARREFOUR in the town centre and several other larger outlets as well as all the banks you can think of including HSBC.

Also in DIDIM TOWN CENTRE before you come to the main shopping in ATATURK BOULEVARD, you will also find CASHPOINTS in the centre near DIDIM MARKET. There is also a TAXI rank outside DIDIM MARKET so even if you don't want to walk the 10 minutes home you know you can get a taxi home with the shopping at a very reasonable rate.

DRINKING WATER
Drinking water is delivered to your door by any one of the many mobile water sellers who regularly tour the area. Although the tap water is safe to drink, it is high in mineral content so most people use the delivered water for drinking purposes.

BEDROOMS
All the rooms are spacious, 2 large double bedrooms and the lounge also sleeps 4 so it sleeps 8 in total.
Bed linen is provided and spare sheets and blankets can be found in the storage area underneath the beds in both rooms.

BATHROOMS
The double bedroom has an ENSUITE WETROOM and there is also a second WETROOM in the hallway close to the single bedded room.

LAUNDRY ROOM
The LAUNDRY ROOM is at the end of the hallway and separate from all other rooms so there is no noise from the washing machine to intrude on your peaceful relaxation in the lounge or elsewhere. There is a washing machine and shelving where you can find the iron and ironing board etc.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishes, cutlery and teatowels.

AIR CONDITIONING AND SECURITY
There is air conditioning/heating throughout the apartment plenty of windows and doors to be opened. All windows are fitted with mosquito nets and ornate window bars for comfort and peace of mind.

TRANSPORT
The apartment is approximately 1.5 hours away from BODRUM AIRPORT.
There are local buses called DOLMUS which run locally into DIDIM and to nearby YENISARIS where you can shop til you drop or enjoy a meal in any one of the many restaurants and bars along the way.
TAXIS are bright yellow and the rank is in DIDIM TOWN CENTRE and also YENISARIS but if you need one quickly any shopkeeper would be happy to call one for you.
