La Rivolte is a beautiful 19th century Belle Epoque villa with 8 Provencal bedrooms set in 5 acres of Mediterrean gardens and ancient olive groves with a large heated swimming pool and spectacular views over the old town of Grasse and the sea. Built in 1883, the villa was originally owned by a local perfumery family. Grasse is known as the world capital of perfume. There is a large gravel terrace for al fresco dining with barbecue. The villa has 2 salons, both with Moroccan fireplaces. The first salon has satellite TV, DVD player, games console and piano. The other salon is a library. There is a computer at guests' disposal with wi-fi. The large kitchen/dining room is well equipped and has an open fireplace.
La Rivolte is the perfect base from which to explore the Cote d'Azur. Antibes, St. Tropez, Cannes, St. Paul de Vence, Nice, Monaco and Menton are all close by. Nice Cote d'Azur airport is just a 30 minute drive away.
